Scammers offer stable work and a family atmosphere, promise that you will solve important company problems in a comfortable office, and receive high salaries and bonuses. But these scams aim to make you aware of these positions and encourage you to send them your CV. As a result, scammers may trick you with unofficial jobs or ask for your personal information or money to take some courses, and so on;
- Receptionist-related jobs
These are variations of secretary, hotel receptionist, restaurant manager, etc. Scammers may use well-known company names or "steal" their jobs from official websites to extort personal or financial information from you after you send them your resume;
- Home-based flyer and/or envelope packing and converting jobs
Such jobs look like ideal job options: work from home, self-sufficiency, and independence.
However, they may require you to provide your bank account information or send money;
- Job offers from employers that hire abroad
Very often, they require an advance payment, for example, for the preparation of documents. Therefore, it is necessary to agree in advance on the following points: whether the intermediary company works directly with the employer, to clarify all the nuances, and guarantees, whether they provide a place of residence and under what conditions. Because as a result of "sweet" promises, the candidate either gets a job that does not meet his or her expectations at all, or not the one promised during the recruitment process, or fraudsters delay the time to get the money but do not employ the candidate.
